Kyiv Smart City Forum 2017 / Association of Ukrainian Cities

The Association of Ukrainian Cities is an active participant in the development and implementation of the local self-government reform. Representatives of the AUC are involved in developing the legislative framework for decentralization of finance and power, sectoral reforms. The Association provides advisory and methodological support for the practical implementation of the legislation on the voluntary association of territorial communities. The Center for the Implementation of Decentralization Reform now operates in the AUC, and in each regional department there is a group of advisers who provide support to communities in the process of consolidation, formation, work of local governments, budgeting, development strategy development, and other issues.
